Based in Western New Brunswick, Appleseed Homesteads is a business initiative dedicated to nurturing the green economy across the maritimes. We don't just build structures; we provide the "seed homes" and tools necessary for people to create a fruitful, resilient life.
Those of us who build Appleseed homes are often living off-grid lives. We each bring unique histories to our common goal of building great, green, affordable micro-homes. Some of us are technicians, some of us are creatives, some of us are homesteaders...what matters is our dedication to each other, and to you, our customers, that we develop a positive relationship in and around all our offerings. Love is the glue that holds it all together, plus the nails ;)

Our homes are built with the rugged spirit of the East Coast. We utilize sustainably harvested wood products and earth-friendly materials sourced right here in our region.
We specialize in High-Performance Finished Shells. By focusing on the "thermal envelope"—providing a fully insulated, structural frame with professionally finished interior walls—we offer a safe haven that remains affordable. Our shells are designed for the DIYer, the backyard entrepreneur, and the modern homesteader. By leaving the final utility hookups (electrical and plumbing) to you, we reduce your upfront costs and provide a canvas for your unique vision.
